Pen Cayetano (Patron of the project)
Pen Cayetano, painter, singer, songwriter, percussionist, guitarist is the leading cultural reviavalist and ambassador for the Garinagu, formerly known as Black Caribs (mixed African and Carib Indian). Pen Cayetano was born in 1954 in Dangriga, the cultural capital of the Garinagu, on the south-central coast of Belize. He is self-taught in painting and in music, and has excelled in both. Punta Rock, the new musical sound which combines the rhythms and sounds of traditional Garifuna music with elements of modern rock, was created by him on the eve of Independence in 1981, and made famous through his Turtleshell Band. In his paintings he portrays scenes of everyday life in Belize, and especially aspects of his own Garifuna folklore, history and culture.
Pierre Baigorry
Pierre Baigorry is one of the most famous German Reggae and Hip Hop musicians from Berlin. He is a member of the German Reggae and Dancehall band “Seeed” and he is currently very successful with his solo project “Peter Fox”.

Henry A. Miguel Jr.
Henry A. Miguel Jr. is a very dedicated and ambitious host of the “NGC Radio – Hamalali Garinagu” radio station out of Dangriga/Belize.
Philipp Lahm
Philipp Lahm is a very popular football player out of Germany. He already played 63 times for the German national soccer team and plays now, since almost 4 years, for “FC Bayern Munich”.
He is engaged in the fight against HIV/AIDS, supports also the “Foundation for Education and Sports for children with disadvantages” and he is an embassador for “SOS-Childrens-Villages”.
Brian T. Moore
Brian T. Moore is a new media man from Toronto/Canada, with a keen focus on the effects of electronic/digital media on society.
He creates rich content for a plethora of channels, from film, to web to installations.
Dr. Wolfgang Güthoff
Dr. Wolfgang Güthoff is the founder and charity chairman of the „HIV-Projekt Belize e.V.“. Since 1994 he is also the chief of the “Department for Infectious Diseases” at the “Klinikum Ernst von Bergmann” in Potsdam/Germany.
His wife Karin and him, ever kept the project alive and running and they never lost their faith!
Kirk “Ajani” Mc Dowell
Kirk Mc Dowell is a very successful and hard working producer and songwriter. Born in Kingston/Jamaica, he migrated in 2000 to Germany where he founded “The Shashamani Band”, which has worked with various artists such as Patrice, Max Herre, Papa Curvin, President Brown, Die fantastischen Vier, Samy Deluxe etc. , just to name a few. At the present moment Ajani is busy as a producer, songwriter, musician and sound engineer.
